Oh, I've loved you from the start

So I may not be doing as well in school as I thought..

Yes, that is correct, that 6 was turned into a 7. 70 percent. I swear I am not slacking off. I know I'm not very good at drawing....hm. I have to start my 3d project tonight, ...50% is due in the morning. What is wrong with me.. I just might suggest all nighter number one begin tonight.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Erdem always. I think that "galaxy" prints are really showing up a lot amongst designers' children. -like Christopher Kane. I mean I am all about Sailormoon and space so I ob love. ;) Anyway, what do I like about them? Elegance. So so beautiful. So so divine. The see through. all of eet.

I must admit that this is a new find for me. But I guess better late than never? I think it's very beautiful (I think everything is very beautiful) but the combo of the sheen and the mountain misty waterfall look and kind of editing of the picture really goes well together. Hmm. Lub.















You guys..I'm having A LOT of trouble moving these pictures around. ...Maybe this wasn't such a good idea.

I'll honestly admit that I'm a little obsesed. I like Jason Wu because his clothes are so playful and elegant and barbie esque. He actually makes cute bum doll clothes! And Mieko said he is really nice. Isn't that great?! You're awesome. But seriously, I'm like really into this collection. The stances, styling, background. ugh. <3

And the latest addition to my obsessions list. I literally used these poses to add into my notebook. Fash sketching is going okay. I'm trying to get better. I want to get better really bad. I don't want to think I'm not very good at drawing anywhere in my mind and just draw and draw well from now on. I want to think I can draw. Anyway, it's lively it's beautiful and it catches my heart.

Worn a little

....I don't know why "fashion" makes me so tired unlike anything else. I feel like I have to work so hard because I just don't feel like I'm at a level not good enough. This is on my mind because, I was pretty excited, but now I'm not so sure I want to enter the contest. I'm not a junior yet, until next quarter and Carmella gave me permission. But I don't know. A silly thing like not being able to use the markers correctly really discourages me. I think I'm a little envious of the other students that seem to have so much confidence in what they are doing. That they can come in, not know how to sew, but truly seem to believe that they can be a designer or stylist. While I- am always so unsure. ..I'm glad I'm challenging myself by taking sketching. But I feel like it needs to be at a level where it isn't. And while I have made some significant progress, it's not yet enough to take me across the river. It has to be amazing. And awing. And worth calling out. And over all I just need to work harder. -And not go to sleep.

Lessons of the Day.

1. Don't settle. I've been really good at going for the cheaper price and being a smart buyer, but sometimes being a smart buyer means putting out a little bit more money so you get something that actually works. -Like glue.

2. Do not, no matter how tempting, or convenient, shop at Ex Libris. Not only are you paying too much, their return policy is absolutely illegal. What store does not take unused things back and question you like you were trying to trick them. Girl. I don't want it. It's too expensive. It doesn't look cute.The customer is always right. Ex-ed out.

3. My roommates are so darn cute.
